Skid Mounted Process Packages

Whatever your process requirements, Vertec Engineering has the capability to design, manufacture, commission and install custom-built process packages.

Our in-house engineering capability includes the manufacture, assembly and testing of chemical injection and process packages to suit specific customer requirements. We design and fabricate structures and piping systems incorporating tanks, pumps and instrumentation.

Typical process applications are:

• Oil, Refining and Petrochemical – The addition of chemicals used in all phases of production, processing, refining, transmission and distribution of oil & gas products.
• Natural Gas – The addition of corrosion inhibitors for instrument protection, methanol to prevent freezing and odorant into natural gas.
• Offshore Industry – The addition of oil & gas corrosion inhibitors, emulsion breakers, scavengers, methanol and others.
• Water Industry – The addition of various chemicals into water being treated prior to use, including filtration packages for fine particle removal.
• Aviation Fuel Packages – Pump and dispensing units for aviation fuel used for today’s sophisticated aircraft.

Design features can include:

• Local skid mounted or remote control panels.
• Single or multi-point injection points.
• Local or remote variable speed and stroke length control to vary injection rates
• in proportion to the main flow stream.
• Single or multi-compartment storage tanks and pressure vessels.
• Level transmitters, alarms and other monitoring systems.
• Exotic materials for aggressive applications.
• Glass Reinforced Epoxy (GRE) piping.

We have the flexibility to select the most suitable components for the application and to carry out welding, piping and factory acceptance testing on a ‘one stop shop’ basis.

Working closely and in partnership with our customers and certifying authorities, our engineering team supervises all elements from bid stage, through to design and testing, ensuring the delivery of a high quality system on time and within budget.

Inspection, Repair and Testing

From our modern facility in Aberdeen, we can cater for the repair, overhaul and testing of all kinds of chemical injection equipment.

Our facilities include:

• Inspection and Maintenance
• Complete Overhaul.
• Pressure Testing
• Calibration.
• Pressure Relief Valve Setting.

Upon receipt of any equipment we receive for repair, we will fax or email a breakdown of all the parts required and cost for the repair. No further work shall be done until authorisation has been given to proceed.

If the equipment cannot be returned to us, we can travel to your plant to carry out repairs, including offshore.
