undertook the design, manufacture and testing of 1-No. Corrosion
Inhibitor Package for the Atlantic & Cromarty
Project.
Overview
Corrosion
Inhibitor is injected at a flow range of 0.19 Ltrs/Hr to 0.56
Ltrs/Hr at a maximum pressure of 1.5 BarG offering
protection to upsteam MEG Injection Pumps.

System
Description
The package
comprised a storage tank, common suction line c/w isolation ball
valves, strainer
and pump setting
gauge. Corrosion
inhibitor
is injected via two Pulsafeeder Electrically driven
metering pumps (one duty, one stand-by) and discharged
via a common
line comprising
pressure relief valves, pressure gauges and ball
valves. Corrosion inhibitor leaves the skid via a 1.5" NB
ANSI 150LB WNRF Flange. The tank level is controlled
by a Radar Wave Level Transmitted
and visually by a magnetic level gauge. Vertec
Scope of Supply
•
Fabricate and paint structural steel skid, pipe supports
grating etc.
• Fabricate 0.5m stainless steel
storage tank.
• Supply all skid instrumentation
including pumps, valves, tank ancillaries, etc.
• Installation of all equipment
including electrical and instrumentation.
• Testing of completed package.
• Compile comprehensive manufacturing
data book.
