Cabins contain state-of-the-art safety monitoring systems including purge control, fire and gas and automatic shutdown of non Ex components in order to maintain a safe working environment. Ancillary systems such as communications networks and air conditioning can also be installed.

For applications in Norwegian waters, the following ‘Norsok’ options are offered:

Height adjustable work surfaces
Low noise
Enhanced lighting.
Advanced ergonomics
Environmental control

As well as standard 4/6/10m units, we have 20 years experience of developing special cabins and modules for an ever increasing number of global customers.

Typical applications include:

Extreme Environment – Very low (-40°C) temperature requiring not only special charpy tested steel but also reliable heating and environmental control. Similarly for high (+50°C) locations where air conditioning is critical for system integrity and operator comfort.
Blast – In unusual circumstances we offer full design and build for blast over pressure applications. Advanced finite element analysis is carried out verified by an independent third party body.
Weight – By considering primary framework design as well as in place, lift and sea transportation loads, weight can be minimised and site lift options can be extended.
Stacking – Units can be designed to stack up to 3 high where floor area is small. Self supporting or built into steel frame.
Flat pack – For locations where conventional cabins can not be used, for example, where existing plant needs to be enclosed or there is restricted access or limited crane capacity, we can supply and install customised flat pack units using traditional or proprietary cladding systems.
